Featured autograph - Chris Nelson

A first round pick [ninth overall] all the way back in 2004, Nelson had a breakout season with the Colorado Rockies in 2012 - considering his draft status, he may have been a disappointment, but a player who was poised to stick in the Major Leagues.

This season, Nelson has bounced around from the Colorado Rockies to the New York Yankees and finally the Angels - after the team designated him for assignment and was outrighted to AAA, I'd pretty much forgotten about him.

He played well in his AAA stint and I was surprised he made it back up with the Angels - in the last month he's been with the team, he's been pretty much unremarkable, even though he has come up with a few key hits lately.
